RE: UCPath Project - November Release, Code Freeze & General Ledger Lockdown
The following message includes key updates about the November Release in UCPath. Please review the information carefully, as there may be items that could affect your work.
November Release and Cutover:
Go live in UCPath is on Monday, November 25th, 2024. This release contains three low-impact projects; Direct Entry, General Ledger Assessments, and Security Deprovisioning. The cutover weekend begins on November 22, 2024, and ends on November 24, 2024. The system downtime is expected to be minimal.
Code Freeze:
As part of the release the UCPath Center will implement a code freeze. A code freeze means no changes can be made to UCPath. With the exception of emergency items, included in the code freeze are any code changes or configurations, such as adding or updating Departments and Location codes.

General Ledger (GL) Lockdown:
The General Ledger module, which could include Direct Retros, Salary Cost Transfers, and Benefit-Cost Transfers will be locked in preparation for the cutover. Exact dates are not available at this time. Please monitor your email closely as we will communicate the exact details of this as we learn more.
