RE: UCPath Notice: June Release – Smart HR Template Issue


UCPath discovered an issue that causes the word “name” and not the data entered by initiators to display in the "Name" field for certain Smart HR templates. 

Impact:

The error occurs on template transactions that were saved via the “Save for Later” feature or transactions that were submitted to UCPath prior to the June 16, 2023, deadline and canceled/cloned after the June 20, 2023, release go-live. If the transactions are processed in UCPath, the "Name" field may appear blank in the reporting instance for template tables.

Action Required:

Create and submit new transactions:

  • Do not use saved transactions that were created on or before June 16
  • Do not clone or resubmit previously canceled transactions created on or before June 16

To avoid processing delays, UCPath will manually update affected transactions to display the correct information in the ”Name” field. The reporting instance will be automatically updated to display the correct name information.

Please share this information with all transactors. We apologize for the inconvenience. UCPath is resolving the issue as quickly as possible.
