RE: UCPath Notice: 2024 W-2s Available by January 31


Dear UCSB Campus Community, 


UC employees will be able to access their 2024 W-2 statements online on or before January 31, 2025:

  • Employees who opted for an electronic version of their W-2 will receive an email notification when their W-2 is available.
  • Employees who did not opt-in for an electronic version may still access their W-2 on UCPath and a printed W-2 will be mailed to the home address listed in UCPath no later than January 31, 2025.

 

Current employees:

To access their W-2, they can visit UCPath online. After logging in, click Employee Actions > Income and Taxes > View Online W-2/W-2C. A Chrome or Firefox browser is recommended when downloading the W-2 form.

 

Former employees:
Former employees can access and download their UCPath W-2 statements for up to three years after their separation date.

 

To access their W-2, they can visit UCPath online and click on Former Employees. Once logged in, they can navigate to Income and Taxes and select the corresponding tile for the form they need.

 

A Chrome or Firefox browser is recommended when downloading the W-2 form.

 

Important security reminder:

The University of California does not send W-2 statements by email or text. Emails or texts with links or attachments to view W-2 forms are phishing scams designed to gain private information. Do not open attachments or click email links claiming to provide access to your W-2.
