RE: UCPath Alert: FAU Override Defect
UCPath recently identified a defect with the FAU override functionality when submitting payroll transactions. FAU overrides are used to change the accounting segments in which an employee’s payroll costs are charged.
Starting with the biweekly September 5 pay period (200905B2X), all FAU transactions defaulted to position-level funding. Employee pay was not impacted.
Location employees do not need to take any action at this time.
As a result of this defect, UCPath will:
- Correct the FAU override defect before the next biweekly payroll (201003B1X) beginning Monday, October 5.
- Identify all impacted transactions by business unit and distribute information to locations by Wednesday, October 7.
- Collaborate with each location to correct the impacted transactions by leveraging the mass salary cost transfer process.
- Coordinate meetings between UCPath Operations Liaisons and location partners.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
